Aranda and the Duero Riverbank are located in a strategic point of Castile and Leon, crossroads of important roadways. The main cities and tourist areas in this district are destinations very close to our hotel: Burgos, Segovia, Valladolid, Soria, Palencia, Sto. Domingo de Silos.

These tours may be complemented with other points of interest, like a visit to the wine cellars. Below the surface of the Aranda del Duero village there is a web of galleries known as "bodegas", whose purpose was to make and store the great wine harvests that have been produced in this city since the Middle Ages. Currently there are more than 120 "bodegas" excavated at a depth of between nine and twelve metres. It is worth noticing the complete absence of sound or vibrations inside the galleries, essential aspects for the elaboration of good wine.
